Mystery Upon the Waters

Such a glorious deceptionThe heavens stare downat their reflection

While little do they know or seeThe life so far below that be

Beneath the glossy image liesa world which seldom meets the eyes

Is heaven fooled by this brilliantly designedserenity mask?Or does it see through to to the creatures not tarryingat their task?

These questions I simply must ask...

As schools of thought swim through my mindI forget allthey leave behind

Reflections in these two blue eyes--behold--whispers of mystical stories untold

Meanwhile my face maintains its poseof peace and beauty, I suppose

Such a glorious conceptionThe heavens smile downupon this resurrection
